Forgiving the Unforgivable Mistake
Everyone messes up!
Sometimes it is a small thing like eating too much junk food and sometimes they are big, really big! So big that people you love and care about get hurt.
When this happens we tend to hold onto the shame, hurt, and anger. We can’t forgive ourselves because we don’t think we deserve forgiveness. We often use phrases like “I should have known better!” or “What was I thinking?”. We can hold onto these mistakes for years. Constantly beating ourselves up for being human and messing up.
It is time to LET IT GO! For your own health and healing show yourself some compassion and grace.
